A WORLD WITHOUT FRICTION - 2012
Imagine a world without friction,
What a terrible place it would be,
No wheels would go round,
Stuff on slopes would fall down,
And that would bother me.
Imagine a world without friction,
What a horrible place it would be,
No rubbing of hands would make heat,
No grip on the floor for my feet,
And that would just terrify me!
Imagine a world without friction,
What a soundless odd place it would be,
No violins playing,
No dancing or swaying,
And that really would depress me.
Imagine a world without friction,
What a boring old place it would be,
No snow-covered hills,
No turning windmills,
And that sure would irritate me.
Imagine a world without friction,
What an infernal place it would be,
No flying of planes,
No surfing, no trains,
And that would just isolate me.
Imagine a world without friction,
What an annoying place it would be,
We couldn’t make fire,
Now that would be dire!
My Goodness how backward we’d be!
Imagine a world without friction,
I’d really rather not,
No jumping or riding,
Just slipping and sliding,
And that would not do, it would NOT!
