Written by Ernest Lehman in 1957, West Side Story is a Broadway musical inspired by Shakespeare’s
Romeo and Juliet that explores the hidden love and rivalry between the Jets and the Sharks, two
teenage gangs of different ethnic backgrounds. I directed it for the International School of Nice.
